Payment/Health Insurance Policies
- Like many other psychiatrists, Dr. Ghaffari does not accept any insurance plans; she is considered an out of network provider for all plans. She is happy to provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
- All payments are due at time of service.
- Payments can be made in cash, check or by credit card.
- Please contact Dr. Ghaffari for fees
- Initial evaluations are typically 2 hours; in some cases the evaluation may take longer depending on complexity of the presentation and history.
- Follow up appointments are 30-60 minutes long depending on complexity
The full fee for a session will be charged if appointments are cancelled within 48 hours of appointment time. One exception per year will be made for medical emergencies.
